Storyline

Plot Summary:In this film, muckraker Michael Moore turns his eye on George W. Bush and his War on Terrorism agenda. He illustrates his argument about how this failed businessman with deep connections to the royal house of Saud of Saudia Arabia and the Bin Ladins got elected on fraudulent circumstances and proceeded to blunder through his duties while ignoring warnings of the looming betrayal by his foreign partners. When that treachery hits with the 9/11 attacks, Moore explains how Bush failed to take immediate action to defend his nation, only to later cynically manipulate it to serve his wealthy backers’ corrupt ambitions. Through facts, footage and interviews, Moore illustrates his contention of how Bush and his cronies have gotten America into worse trouble than ever before and why Americans should not stand for it.

I learned these points:
The fact Bush sent only 11,000 troops into Afghanistan to supposedly go after the man who admitted responsibility for the murder of almost 3,000 US citizens? There are more police officers working in Manhattan, New York than there were when Bush sent them after bin Laden.
The fact that Bush had plans to invade Iraq even before he was "elected" in 2000 and used the attacks on Sept 11 to do so?
The fact that no Congressman who voted for the Patriot Act actually READ the bill before signing it into law? But I need some more agruments that the movie surfaced on. Any ideas? Thanks.
This debate is old? Obviously, if you have troops stantioned in the Middle East, this war on oil is…um… I dont know, still current.

Fahrenheit 9/11 movie free online?
YES, I KNOW THIS IS "ILLEGAL." But I need to watch it for a school project and all copies are checked out at the library. It was on youtube a couple days ago but all English copies have been taken down from what I can find. My parents extremely disagree with this movie and having to use their card to rent it at Blockbuster is pretty much out of the question. Anyone know a site?

Can someone give me examples of Fahrenheit 9/11 being factually incorrect?
I asked a question which featured this film, and got a lot of answers claiming that the film is propaganda and factually flawed. Could someone advise me where in the film it gets the facts wrong? Links or sources would be appreciated PS, simply saying you don’t agree with or like Michael Moore isn’t any kind of answer

Why do thought provoking, intelligent films (Fahrenheit 9/11, Syriana) about the Middle East get panned…?
…yet films like The Deer Hunter or Black Hawk Down, which portray the USA as some kind of bravado-and-angst hero, make millions at the box office? Is it the final confirmation that the population has been dumbed down to such an extent that we’re too stupid to actually think for ourselves anymore?
